PASSATSTAL Research Laboratory has received an accreditation certificate for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT). The scope of accreditation includes more than 20 indicators for the evaluation of paints and varnishes and solvents.
The laboratory allows you to study coatings during the operational cycle of production, including input control of raw materials. The frequency of sampling varies from daily to monthly, depending on the production need.
The PASSATSTAL Research Laboratory can conduct research for both legal entities and individuals. The service may concern both simple sampling and conducting research on a small number of indicators, as well as adjusting the coating formulation in accordance with the customer’s operating conditions.
The equipment of the laboratory also includes devices belonging to the latest generation. A pendulum hardness tester with an electronic table allows you to conduct research on the hardness index of the pendulum. A high-precision Fischer automatic titrator is used to determine the mass fraction of water in the solvent. The value of the mass fraction of water in the solvent directly affects the quality of the final coating if the amount of water exceeds 20-25%, this leads to a significant deterioration in the protective and operational performance of the coating. The PASSATSTAL Research Laboratory promptly assesses the condition of the paintwork and paint and adjusts the formulation and color to the customer’s conditions.
